What Am I Selling?
Here’s a little thought of mine—see if it resonates. If it does, you’re in the right place.
Yeah, but what work are you really doing? What value are you really providing?This is what we all ask when seeing proclamations of ideas online, isn’t it?
It’s funny.
We are all looking to be sold, but we are skeptical of everyone selling.
That’s why you’re here, right?
You’re looking for a thought, an idea, a framework, a product—or maybe just validation of your own.
We all want to benefit from someone else’s time and energy, yet we hesitate to trade our own (money, time, attention) in return.
Why?
Because we guard our time and energy fiercely—it’s our most valuable resource.

So, with that thought framework that I produced with my own time and energy, I want to talk about:
What work am I doing?
What value am I providing?
What am I selling?
And why am I doing it?
Because we all want to know the seller’s motivation.Actually, that’s not right. We all know the seller’s motivation. We just want to hear the seller say it themselves.
So, I’ll start off by saying it. (If you actually don't care about my motivations and just want to hear what I'm selling, just skip the next section.)
Why Am I Doing It?
In Atlas Shrugged, a key theme is that people rarely say what they actually want. They imply it, we understand it, but they never state it outright.
I see that happening in the world today—and it bothers me.
So, I’m going to be crystal clear about what I want.
(Side note: if you've read this book and it had a profound effect on the way you view the world, we are kindred spirits, and I'd love to talk.)
My motivation—what I want—is your time, attention, and trust. I want it so I can make money to live the simple life I am currently living, with just a little more freedom.
I want to earn a living online—on my own schedule—by doing meaningful, challenging work that excites me.
For the past four years, I’ve built and operated a food truck and catering business. I love the business side of things, but the industry itself? Not so much.
The six years before that,
I spent working a 9-to-5 in a large corporate environment. That was ten times more “not my thing,” and I don’t want to go back to that.
But what I’ve found out while doing this is that I have a true passion for entrepreneurship and small business.
I think strong small businesses make a successful society, and I want to help strengthen them by providing structure to save them time.
I want to make early or prospective entrepreneurs feel like they can succeed so they take the chance they need to take.
I want to give them insight, ideas, and frameworks that help do this practically.
What am I Offering?
So, what am I offering? Here’s the short version:
